Home School Band Program and Beginner Winds/Brass Class Accepting New Students!

Home School Families!

Thank you to all the families that participated in the beginner winds/brass class. Because of this we now have a Home School Band program! This is open to all homeschoolers throughout Central Illinois and FREE. Ages 7+

The new Home School Band Program Meets Fridays 12:30 – 1:30 @ Broadway Christian Church in Mattoon. This is available to home school students that pass the Beginner Winds/Brass Class or Audition. PERCUSSIONIST, STRINGS, and SELECT FRETTED INSTRUMENTS are now able to audition and will need to pass a basic playing test to participate.

A New Beginner Winds/Brass Class will meet 1:30 – 2:00 on Fridays after Band to encourage students to learn a wood wind or brass instrument. Instrument will be needed to participate. Musicians can start this class anytime with the intent of joining the band class!
