Legacy Performing Arts of Central Illinois presents music from Disney’s “Encanto” Sunday, July 24th!

Legacy Performing Arts of Central Illinois will be presenting a concert this coming Sunday, July 24th featuring instrumental music from the hit Disney movie “Encanto” .   Music includes “Family Madrigal”, “Surface Pressure”, “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” and more.  The concert starts at 3:30pm at the Burgess Auditorium in Mattoon, IL.   Donations are appreciated to offset rental and operational costs.   Experienced musicians that would like to participate will need to contact director Chris Keniley.  

Community musicians featured on this concert include Justin Hunt (Trombone, Mattoon),  Alana Jackson (Violin, Effingham),  David Barnett (Bari Saxophone, Atwood ),  Kris Jacobs (Marimba, Mattoon),  Ryder Wilcox-Rich (Piano, Arcola), Nate Huddleston (Marimba, EIU), Rosha Carter (French Horn, Mattoon),  Keenan Kersh (Marimba/Mattoon),  Sydney Zumbahlen (flute/Newton)  and director Chris Keniley (Trumpet, Mattoon)

Legacy’s Show-Band consists of over forty active musicians from all over Central Illinois including Indiana.  Experience ranges from absolute beginners to seasoned professionals.  

Legacy’s next performance will be Saturday August 20th, 6:30pm at the Relay for Life of Coles County, IL.
