Learning rhythm doesn’t have to be limited to counting “1 e & a.” In this series, I use familiar words and phrases to help musicians hear, understand, and perform rhythms in a creative and memorable way. Whether you’re a beginning drummer, band student, music educator, or experienced musician, these quick lessons are designed to make rhythm easier—and more fun—to learn.
